Brian T. Smith

Brian T. Smith is a US sports writer in London. He joined talkSPORT in September 2023, and appears on the site's YouTube show and radio programs. Smith previously was a sports columnist at the Houston Chronicle, and served as a Houston Texans and Houston Astros beat writer while working for the newspaper from 2012-23. He covered NFL, MLB and NBA (Utah Jazz, Portland Trail Blazers) beats during an almost 20-year writing and editing career in the US. Smith was named an Associated Press Sports Editors Top 10 Sports Columnist and Features writer, and has been honored by the Pro Football Writers of America and Professional Basketball Writers Association. He is the author of the book "Liftoff."
