Footage captures LeBron James teammate’s hilarious reaction to his unbelievable NBA longevity
LeBron James jokingly screamed in shock when he was informed that he is now the NBA's oldest player.
When James' basketball longevity was brought up again on Monday, all his Los Angeles Lakers teammate could do was laugh.
"Where were you in '05?" James asked Anthony Davis. "Were you in like the third grade or something?"
"Fifth grade," said Davis, sitting next to The King, after the Lakers' 129-126 preseason victory over the Brooklyn Nets in Las Vegas.
"I've been here for quite a long time playing ball," said James, as he and Davis kept laughing.
James' overall point was correct -- he has been around for a long time.

The 19-time All Star is entering his 21st season and has played with three franchises, including two stints with Cleveland.
But James' timeline of his own career was a little off.
One of the greatest players in league history entered the NBA in 2003.
Davis was born on March 11, 1993, which means that Los Angeles' other superstar was only 10 years old when James was just beginning his pro career as a rookie.

But what's a couple years when you've been playing as long as James?
He has four MVPs, four NBA Finals MVPs, 19 All-NBA selections and 1,421 career games played.
James has also played 282 games in the postseason.
The Lakers improved to 1-1 on Monday by holding off the Nets.
Davis scored 13 points on 4-of-6 shooting, adding seven rebounds and three blocks.
James is still getting warmed up for the regular season.
The NBA's all-time leading scorer shot 3-of-8 from the field with 10 points, five assists and three turnovers.
