LeBron James actually set a record in worst career loss as Lakers get ‘s***’ beat out of them

LeBron James made history in the worst loss of his NBA career.
Twice.
The Los Angeles Lakers were completely destroyed by the Philadelphia 76ers on Tuesday, losing 138-94 at the Wells Fargo Center.
That 44-point defeat instantly became the worst loss during James' 21-year career.
Then there was the other record that The King set.
James became the NBA leader in minutes played, including the playoffs.
But after watching the Lakers lose by 44 points and fall to a 10-8 record, James wasn't in the mood to celebrate more NBA history.
"That doesn't mean much to me,” he said.
It was a bad night for the league's all-time leading scorer.
James shot 8-of-12 from the field but only scored 18 points, didn't grab a rebound and only attempted two free throws in 30 minutes.
It was an even worse night for the Lakers, who trailed 68-53 at halftime and were outscored by a stunning 40-14 in the final quarter.
"They beat the s*** out of us," Austin Reaves said.
Joel Embiid loved beating the Lakers.
“That's my favorite team,” said Embiid, who scored 30 points as the 76ers improved to 12-5. “Any time I play against them, you want to get the win. But I do it every night anyways against every other team.”
Los Angeles coach Darvin Ham said Philly simply wanted it more and outhustled the Lakers.
"Your competitive spirit has to be at a high level,” Ham said. “It almost has to be bulletproof to a certain degree. You have to meet force with force."
After the worst loss of his career -- and becoming the NBA's all-time leader in minutes played -- James was adamant that things must change for the Lakers.
“What needs to change in order for that to not happen again? A lot,” he said.
