The first round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament is officially in the books and nearly everyone's bracket is already busted.

Every year fans try to craft the perfect March Madness bracket and every year most people fall at the first hurdle.

There's already been a number of bracket busters this year with the standout upset being the 14th-seeded Oakland Golden Grizzlies taking out the No.3 Kentucky Wildcats.

According to the NCAA social media account, just 0.00038% of brackets in the men’s tournament are still active.

One of those very few people to still have a perfect bracket is Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson.

The 22-year-old NFL star successfully predicted upsets of Duquesne over BYU and Oregon over South Carolina.

“Perfect day one haha. Kinda dope,” Robinson replied to a post by the March Madness account on X.

The RB picked all 12 of the NCAA Tournament’s opening games to perfection and fans responded by asking him for this week's lottery numbers.

"Tell me the lottery numbers for the next powerball," one fan joked.

Robinson is also counting on an upset by Western Kentucky over No. 2 Marquette which takes place on Friday, and has predicted his alma mater Texas Longhorns, who are a No.7 seed, to go all the way and win the national title.

Sadly, it's only a matter of time before Bijan's perfect bracket is busted.

Nobody has ever achieved a March Madness perfect bracket and according to reports the odds of getting every result correct are an extraordinary one to nine quintillion - that's a nine followed by 18 zeroes.

The numerous upsets and Cinderella runs are ultimately what makes the tournament so compelling and why getting a perfect bracket is nigh on impossible.

Millions of fans have already seen their dreams of a perfect bracket go up in smoke.

ESPN claim that they only have 1,825 perfect brackets left on their site out of 22 million entrants.

Thursday's biggest bracket busters were No.11 seeds Duquesne, Oregon and NC beating BYU, South Carolina and Texas Tech, respectively.

Kentucky's 76-80 loss to Oakland was by far the biggest shock though.

According to the NCAA, just 5.11% of entrants picked Oakland to win that game, meaning a ton of brackets were wiped out with the surprise result.

We'll see if Bijan is still standing with a perfect bracket after Friday's slate of games.
