LeBron James and Steph Curry are no strangers when it comes to breaking records and passing legends.

However, on Thursday night they both made history, tangling with arguably the greatest player in the history of basketball, Michael Jordan.

James tied Jordan for most 30-point games in NBA history with 562, in the Los Angeles Lakers 114-106 win over the Portland Trailblazers.

The Lakers star will surely pass Jordan for most 30-point games in NBA history in the coming week or two.

Meanwhile, Curry passed Jordan 30-point games by a guard after turning 35 in NBA history.

Curry now has 40, Jordan had 39.

The Golden State Warriors star did so in a vintage Curry supernova performance, scoring 30 points, going a perfect 8/8 from the 3-point line and delivering ten assists.

He is the first player in NBA history to shoot 8/8 from the 3-point line and record 10 assists.

The Warriors throttled the Philadelphia 76'ers, 139-105.

Again, making history is nothing new to either James or Curry, but it is a special coincidence that they both tied/passed Jordan in the record books on the same night.

As the league struggles with low ratings, and looks to find their next face of the league, it is James and Curry who continue to carry the torch.

James and Curry are still the two biggest stars in the game, followed by Kevin Durant.

Curry and Durant are both 36-years-old, while James just turned 40.

It is why the league is so desperate to find their next star.

Those three don't have much longer.

But until then, everyone needs to appreciate the milestones they pass and achieve, especially when it's on the same night, with Michael Jordan included.

There may not be too many of these moments left.

There will never be another James, and there will never be another Curry.

Enjoy them wile you still can.
