Jake Paul v Nate Diaz preview

Billed as 'Ready 4 War' Saturday night's fight sees American social media personality and professional boxer Jake Paul enter the boxing ring against mixed martial artist Nate Diaz.

Saturday will be Paul's first fight since his split decision defeat to Tommy Fury back in February, his first loss since becoming a professional.

The defeat leaves the American, nicknamed 'The Problem Child' with a 6-1 record, which he will look to extend with victory on Saturday night.

The 26-year-old has enjoyed a lot of prior success in his boxing matches against mixed martial artists, having previously got the better of Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley (twice) and Anderson Silva.

Diaz, now 38, is most well known for spending more than 15 years fighting in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

The American has never had a professional boxing match before, but boasts an MMA record of 21-13, with his most recent fight being a fourth round win by submission against Tony Ferguson back in September last year.

Saturday night's fight will be fought over 10 rounds, should it last that long, the longest fight of Paul's professional career.

The initial deal was an eight-round fight, but after a social media conversation back in June, both fighters agreed to extend the fight to 10.

Jake Paul v Nate Diaz betting tips

bet365 have boosted the odds of a few bets ahead of Saturday night's fight, including Paul to win between rounds five and six, which now stands at 11/2, up from 5/1.

Diaz to be knocked down and win has also been boosted from 18/1 to 16/1, which could be a tempting offer for those backing the MMA fighter.
