Nottingham Forest v Bristol City preview
Nottingham Forest prepare for their FA Cup fourth round replay having won just one of their last six matches in all competitions, which came via extra time in their third round replay against League One side Blackpool.
Nuno Espirito Santo's side had appeared to have sorted out their league position and form when the Brazilian took charge, winning three of their opening five matches, including victories against Newcastle and Manchester United, but have since regressed in form.
The East Midlands side have now lost two of their last three Premier League games, including a huge six pointer against fellow relegation candidates Brentford, which leaves the club currently 16th in the table and just two points above the drop zone.
Forest's home form last season was so crucial to them maintaining their Premier League status but their record at the City Ground this year has been far from ideal, winning just three of their 13 home matches this season in all competitions.
The two-time winners of the FA Cup will be aiming to reach the fifth round of the competition for just the second time in 10 years, and will host last season's runners up Manchester United, should they win.
Bristol City are also in an unfavourable run of form ahead of their trip to Nottingham, having won just one of their nine matches in all competitions since Boxing Day.
That sole win did come against Premier League opposition though as they put in an a strong performance in their third round replay to knock out West Ham.
Liam Manning's side had climbed up to seventh and were within a point of the play-off positions following their Boxing Day win at Watford, but six league games without a win since has seen them drop into the bottom half.
The Robins now sit 14th in the Championship table, three points outside the top half of the table ahead of their trip to the East Midlands on Wednesday night.
Many Bristol City fans will be seeing the FA Cup as all they have to play for this season with the top six getting further and further out of reach.
The West Country side have reached the last 16 in three of the last five seasons, and will be looking to add to that impressive record with a cup upset at the City Ground on Wednesday night.
Bristol City are winless in their last four meetings with Nottingham Forest, though the Robins are unbeaten on three of their last five visits to the City Ground.
📝 Nottingham Forest v Bristol City betting tips
Wednesday's replay is likely to be a tight affair between two teams out of form, and with Forest's main attention being maintaining their Premier League status, while their visitors will be keen to win to keep their season alive, Betfred's offer of 10/3 on a draw could be a sensible option.
