PSG will have been relieved at their Round of 16 draw in the Champions League this season having avoided the likes of Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, following their second placed finish in Group G before Christmas.
Luis Enrique's side finished three points short of Borussia Dortmund and only qualified ahead of AC Milan in what was widely considered the Group of Death of this season's competition.
The French champions head into Wednesday night's home tie unbeaten in all competitions since November, a run spanning 16 matches, the last nine of which have resulted in eight wins.
The 2020 Champions League runners up are currently 11 points clear at the top of Ligue 1, as they remain on target to win a 10th league title in 12 years.

Visiting the Parc des Princes for the very first time in Wednesday night is a Real Sociedad side who aren't quite managing to reach the heights of their fourth placed finish in La Liga last season, which saw them qualify for the Champions League for the first time in 10 years.
Imanol Alguacil's side currently find themselves down in the seventh in La Liga following their 1-0 home defeat to Osasuna on Saturday afternoon, leaving them 11 points off the top four and without a win, or even a goal, in any of their last four matches.
Prior to last weekend, though, the Spanish side had lost only once in all competitions in 19 matches, dating back to the start of November, and have lost only one of their last 16 matches in on the road ahead of their trip to the French capital.
La Real have returned to Champions League action in emphatic style, finishing top of Group D, which contained the likes of last season's finalists Inter Milan and fellow previous European champions Benfica, as well as Austrian champions Salzburg.
Wednesday night will be the first ever meeting between the two sides.
