Norwich v Ipswich preview
Ipswich head into the weekend as the Championship's league leaders after being the only team in the second tier's top 11 to pick up two wins from two across the Easter weekend.
Victories for Kieran McKenna's side over Blackburn and Southampton leaves them having picked up nine wins from their last 10 Championship fixtures, and as a result, Ipswich now boast a one point lead at the top of the table ahead of second placed Leeds.
The Tractor Boys are looking to become the first team in 12 years to be promoted in consecutive seasons up into the Premier League, having finished second in League One last time out, and now sit in pole position to reach the top flight for the first time since 2002.
Only Leicester have picked up more points away from home this season than Ipswich, who will be looking to extend their lead atop the second tier table with a win at the home of their most fierce rivals, which would in turn dent the Canaries' own promotion hopes.
Norwich head into the weekend ahead of their home East Anglian derby placed sixth in the Championship, with a four point cushion ahead of seventh-placed Coventry in the race for fourth and final play-off spot, though having played a game more.
David Wagner's side have won three of their last four matches and lost just two of their last 11 ahead of Saturday's welcoming of their arch rivals, though the Canaries did fall to defeat in their most recent match, a 3-1 defeat to Ipswich's automatic promotion rivals, Leicester.
The Norfolk side will be hoping Monday's defeat in the east Midlands was just a blip, and will be looking forward to being back on their home turf, with only Leeds and Ipswich having picked up more points at home than the Canaries all season, including winning their last seven.
Ipswich are unbeaten in their last 11 East Anglian derbies against Norwich, who haven't got the better of their rivals in 15 years.
The Canaries are also winless in their last nine home games against the Tractor Boys, dating all the back to 2006.
