Betfred:

Wigan head into Saturday's final as odds on favourites to win a record-extending 21st Challenge Cup, having won their 20th just two years ago.

Matt Peet's side have won five matches on the spin ahead of this weekend's final, which includes a narrow victory over Saturday's opponents Warrington in a league match last week, which ended in a 19-18 victory.

The Warriors currently sit second in the table in the Super League, level on points with St Helens at the top but having played a game fewer due to their participation in the World Club Challenge back in February which saw Wigan crowned world champions after beating NRL champions Penrith Panthers.

Wigan booked their place in Saturday's final following comfortable wins over Sheffield Eagles, Castleford Tigers and most recently Hull KR in the semi final in Doncaster, which they won 38-6.

Warrington make the trip to the capital having just seen their seven match winning streak come to an end last weekend at the hands of the Warriors, which they will be looking to get revenge for in London on Saturday as they seek a 10th Challenge Cup triumph.

Sam Burgess' side currently occupy fourth spot in the Super League table following their fourth defeat of the league season last time out.

The Wolves have also had a relatively stress-free journey to the final, with convincing wins over London Broncos, St Helens before their 46-10 win over Huddersfield Giants in the semi final at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

Saturday's match will be just the second time the two sides have met at this stage of the competition, having also met in 1990, in which Wigan won 36-14.
