Brighton will look to make it three wins in a row to start the new season as they take on Sussex rivals Crawley in the second round of the EFL Cup at the Amex Stadium tonight.
Fabian Hurzeler's reign as Roberto de Zerbi's replacement in the Brighton dugout has got off to a perfect start, with the club currently sat joint top of the Premier League, two games into the new season following back to back victories.
The campaign started with an emphatic 3-0 victory away at Everton, and the 31-year-old manager's impressive start continued as his Seagulls side defeated Manchester United 2-1 last weekend.
The victories leave the south coast side in second place in the Premier League table, just one goal shy of the league leaders Manchester City.

Fellow Sussex side Crawley also got off to a winning start to the new campaign following their promotion from League Two via the play-offs last season.
Scott Lindsey's side kicked off the campaign with four wins on the trot, two in the league, one in the first round of the EFL Cup and a victory on penalties over Brighton's U21 side in the EFL Trophy.
Victories over Blackpool and Cambridge on the Red Devils' return to the third tier after eight seasons in League Two saw them top the table with a 100% record before the side fell to their first defeat of the season on Saturday afternoon, a 1-0 loss away at Wigan.
Saturday's defeat leaves Crawley eighth in League One.
Tonight's match will be just the second team the two Sussex sides have faced each other in competitive action, the last time being in the third round of the FA Cup back in 1992, in which the Seagulls blew away the Red Devils by a 5-0 scoreline.
