Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson predictions and betting tips
Mike Tyson will be back on the boxing ring on Friday night in Texas for the first time since his exhibition fight against Roy Jones Jr in November 2020, which ended in a draw.
Now 58 years old, Tyson comes up against former YouTuber Jake Paul, 31 years his junior, in what is officially the biggest age gap between two fighters in professional boxing.
Tyson, of Catskill, New York, is widely regarded as one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time, and reigned as undisputed heavyweight champion of the world from 1987 to 1990, with his last professional bout coming in 2005, ending his career with a record of 50-6.
Friday's fight will be Paul's 12th professional bout, with the 1997-born boxer from Cleveland, Ohio currently boasting a 11-1 record, his sole defeat coming at the hands of Tommy Fury in February last year.
Paul has since won his last four fights, most recently beating MMA fighter and bare knuckle boxer Mike Perry in a sixth round TKO in Tampa back in July earlier this year.
The fight will consist of eight two-minute rounds, fought with 12-ounce gloves.
Much attention will also be on other fights on the main card, with the current undisputed and lineal world super lightweight champion Katie Taylor back in action as she defends all five belts in a rematch against Amanda Serrano, who lost the initial bout by split decision at Madison Square Garden back in April 2022.
Another world title is on the line too, with Mario Barrios defending his WBC welterweight belt against Abel Ramos.
