‘I don’t know who these guys are’ – Jake Paul asked about Tony Bellew, Paulie Malignaggi and Mairis Briedis comments as he gives update on his next fight

Jake Paul has dismissed recent comments and call-outs from Tony Bellew, Paulie Malignaggi and Mairis Briedis, insisting he will decide who he faces next fight on his own terms.

The 5-0 (4 KOs) YouTuber-turned-boxer is planning to enter the ring again in 2022, but not until the latter part of the year.

He is currently taking a break to promote his Most Valuable Promotions fighter Amanda Serrano's historic clash with Katie Taylor on April 30.

In the meantime though, several professional boxers have called Jake out and made disparaging comments about him.

First, former WBC cruiserweight world champion Bellew said: "He’s never gonna call my name and I wouldn’t even entertain him if he did.

“He wouldn’t say my name because he knows. He wouldn’t and he couldn’t because I would take his chin off his face.”

Next, current IBF cruiserweight world champion Mairis Briedis continued his call-out campaign by getting a tattoo of Jake's name on his leg and making a diss track.

And now former two-weight world champion Paulie Malignaggi has put himself forward as a potential opponent.

When asked about these three, Jake told marvelbet369.com: "I don't know who half these guys are to be honest.

"People are calling me out every week, and almost every day honestly.

"I don't really pay attention to it anymore.

"It's more, 'Who do I wanna fight? And who would make me excited to get out of bed and go train my ass off for months?'

"That's the opponent I'm looking for.

"But all these other guys are probably just looking for a payday."

He added: "I want to fight towards the end of the year.

"The opponent is to be determined and there's no clear pathway now.

"I'm just seeing how the cookie crumbles."
