Joseph Parker reveals John Fury’s influence and gives himself ‘better chance’ against Anthony Joshua now – but Joe Joyce next is most likely

Heavyweight boxer Joseph Parker has told talkSPORT Tyson Fury's father John has made him a better fighter.
The New Zealand heavyweight suggests he would give Anthony Joshua a sterner test as a result of training with the Furys, following a convincing defeat in 2018.
Parker boasts an impressive record of 30 wins, including 21 knockouts and just two defeats, most recently overcoming Derek Chisora twice.
The 30-year-old revealed that while he wants to fight Joshua again, his camp are working on a fight with British heavyweight Joe Joyce.
Having trained alongside WBC champion Tyson Fury and his father John in recent months, Parker expects to show a new and improved version of himself next time he enters the ring.
"John Fury is a hard man," he said on Drivetime.
"When John takes the training, you know you're in for a really hard training session.
"I'm thankful to John for how he has prepared and pushed me in training, and helping me improve and be a better fighter as well."
With a tougher training regime in place, Parker suggests he could fare better against Joshua.
The two met in 2018, and it was the Brit who came out victorious, beating him via unanimous decision to win the WBA, IBF and WBO heavyweight titles at the time.
"I think I have more of a chance now, because I back myself" he added.
"I'm more aggressive in the last fight I showed, and I think with that fight, [I was] too defensive and I didn't take the risks that you would take in these fights."
While he wants to go up against AJ again, a bout with Joyce is likelier, and is one that Parker is looking forward to.
"My manager, David Higgins, he's working on a few fights in the US, but at the moment we're working on a fight with Joe Joyce," Parker added.
"I think that would be a great fight, number one and number two in the WBO, and he's avoided and he's a very tough fighter Joe Joyce, I'd like to get him there and face him."
