Richard Riakporhe has revealed he is open to a fight with WBO cruiserweight world champion and fellow Brit, Lawrence Okolie, following his victory over Deion Jumah.

It was a dominant performance from Riakporhe to beat Jumah on Saturday night, as he headlined a BOXXER card at Wembley Arena.

After knocking Jumah down in the fourth round, Riakporhe finished the fight in the eighth with a crushing body shot that saw his opponent unable to rise from the canvas.

After the fight, Riakporhe spoke to IFL TV about who he wanted to take on next.

"My team are working behind the scenes and they've got a beautiful plan for me. They put people in front of me and I deal with them, it's just that simple.

"I want all the big fights... It would be massive to fight Okolie at the O2 or something like that, bloody hell, that would be a sell out quickly."

Riakporhe is currently ranked 11th in line for Okolie's WBO world title and so he would most likely need a few more fights to put himself in a position for contention.

With that being said, if Okolie and his promoter, Eddie Hearn, see Riakporhe as a potentially lucrative option then they could voluntarily offer him a shot at the world title.

Lawrence Okolie won his world title in March of last year when he knocked out Krzysztof Glowacki and he has since defended the belt twice against Dilan Prasovic and Michal Cieslak.

The most likely option for Okolie's next fight is probably not Riakporhe, but instead a world title unification with the IBF champion, Mairis Briedis, who Okolie called out in the ring after his latest victory.
