Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson says he’ll have 5am workout in the gym with Hafthor ‘Thor’ Bjornsson who has Eddie Hall rematch to think about

If Hafthor Bjornsson wasn’t already Hollywood enough, he could now train with one of the world’s most famous men ahead of a potential rematch with Eddie Hall.

WWE legend and action film star Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has invited ‘Thor’ - aka The Mountain from Game of Thrones - for one of his legendary 5am training sessions ahead of his next boxing match.

In March Thor faced a grudge fight against fellow world’s strongest man winner Hall, in what was dubbed the ‘Heaviest Boxing Match in History’.

The two strongmen combined for a massive weight of 47 stone and both hit the deck before Thor’s dominance in the bout resulted in a unanimous victory.

The long-running feud between the duo appeared to have been settled, but, in the aftermath, both have welcomed the prospect of a rematch later this year.

Thor, who twice floored Hall, may return with an even bigger punch, with help from one of Los Angeles toughest residents.

Thor had already tweeted in reference to The Rock’s legendary early morning workouts, only to receive a reply from the Fast & Furious star.

“Super jet lagged,” Thor wrote. “Woke up at 4am.

“Doesn’t the @TheRock train at 4am everyday? Should I train? #AbsolutelyNot.”

The Rock is renowned for his brutal training regime, but he was still humble to admit he doesn’t actually start at 4am, he gives himself an extra hour’s rest, and poked fun at his own fame - and fashion choices.

“Technically I wake up @4am every day and I’m training by 5am,” he replied.

“One day we’ll have to bang some iron together.

“The world’s stronger man, boxer, actor etc, and the big, brown, bald, tattooed guy who’s only famous for wearing a fanny pack.

“Keep kickin’ ass brother.”
