Canelo takes on Bivol this weekend on Saturday, May 7 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The Mexican boxer has an incredible 57 wins to his name but does come up against a strong opponent in Bivol, an unbeaten Russian WBA title holder.
A win in yet another weight division would see him secure his legacy as one of the best ever boxers and has moved into each fight to make him a pound-for-pound champion.
Alvarez last fought Caleb Plant in November at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, also in Las Vegas, and won by technical knockout in the 11th round.
If Plant had held on to the end, Alvarez still would have won the bout on points.
Alvarez became just the sixth fighter in boxing, to unify all belts in one division in a four-belt era.
