Tommy Fury still willing to fight Jake Paul anywhere else in the world after being denied entry to US, as Hasim Rahman Jr is lined up as replacement for next fight

Despite Jake Paul having moved on, Tommy Fury is still trying desperately to salvage his lucrative bout with the social media star.
Paul and Fury were set to meet on August 6 at Madison Square Garden, but the fight was plunged into doubt when the younger brother of Tyson Fury was denied entry to America to attend a press conference to promote the fight.
Subsequently, Paul gave Fury an ultimatum, telling him to resolve the issue by Wednesday of this week or he would be moving on to another opponent.
Fury missed the deadline and yesterday it was reported that Paul was lining up Hasim Rahman Jr, whose dad is the former unified heavyweight world champion who knocked out Lennox Lewis in 2001.
Paul has since confirmed his fight with Fury is off, as he posted on Twitter saying, "Fury’s received a termination notice. [promotional company] MVP did everything it could to help him and the team.
"He wasn’t interested and he literally went into hiding. Second time in a row he has pulled out.
"Second time in a row I’m going to step up and take on a new opponent on short notice. AUG 6. MSG. [announcement] tomorrow."
Fury, however, has not given up hope yet, as he also took to Twitter to suggest an alternative solution for the fight to go ahead.
"I'm gutted and disappointed in regards to the issues I have faced with entry into the USA. This is something that myself or my team could have never anticipated happening.
"This situation has been left with my lawyers as being denied entry to a country is obviously a very serious issue and it needs to subsequently be resolved.
"I am confident this fight will happen when this issue gets resolved and we come to a solution.
"I want to clarify that I will fight in a neutral country that both parties can enter. This can be any time, any place, any where."
