WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury appears set on beating Derek Chisora for a third time.

In fact, in July he vowed to punch his heavyweight rival in the face the next time they bump into each other for predicting Dillian Whyte would beat him.

Fury picked up a sixth-round knockout win over Whyte in April, but victory was somewhat soured by the fact his former friend was loudly rooting against him in the build-up.

‘Del Boy’, who has twice shared the ring with Fury and Whyte, told talkSPORT a new champion would be crowned on April 23 and even suggested he would bet his house on ‘The Body Snatcher’.

“I’m willing to put my house on it. I’m willing to put my house on Dillian Whyte knocking Tyson Fury out,"; Chisora said.

"Look at your faces in the studio! Tyson is my mate and I know he’s listening – Tyson, you’re going to get knocked out."

Fury retired after his most recent win, while Chisora picked up one of the biggest wins to date by beating Kubrat Pulev to revive his career after suffering three straight defeats.

The heavyweight king was impressed by his compatriot’s performance but he found it difficult to praise Chisora, alluding to a strained friendship.

“I thought Derek did absolutely fantastic [against Kubrat Pulev]. However, me and Derek Chisora used to be chum buddies. I went to Monaco to support him. I went to Hamburg to support him,” Fury told talkSPORT Fight Night.

“Then, as soon as I have a fight he goes, ‘I’ll pick the other guy’. So, Derek Chisora can kiss my a*** and if I see him I’m going to punch him in the face.”

No he may get to as it seems a third fight between Fury and Chisora is on the cards, with The Gypsy King calling Chisora out.

"You are running Derek from the trilogy. Call yourself ‘War’ but you should call yourself chicken,"; he said in a recent Instagram video.

“You are running from a trilogy and a career highest payday. Get the f***ing contract signed, stop being a s***house.”

Fury also explained to talkSPORT that Chisora initially tried to explain himself post-fight.

“After the fight, he came to the afterparty and said this, that, and the other, made a million excuses. At the end of the day, you don’t do that to your friends,” he added.

“If you’re friends with somebody, you back them. You don’t go with the other guy who you don’t like anyway, you go with your friend.

“After what he did, backing Dillian Whyte to knock me out, having his house on it and all that, how confident he was, we ain’t friends anymore. And when I see you, Derek, you’ve got me to fight.”

Chisora had been hoping to secure a fight with Deontay Wilder, but that dream has been dashed by Shelly Finkel, who manages ‘The Bronze Bomber’.

Finkel has categorically stated his client will not be fighting the Brit when he returns to the ring for the first time since losing his trilogy fight with Fury.

Meanwhile, Fury also teased that he could come out of retirement for a meeting with Oleksandr Usyk, if he beats Anthony Joshua once more.

Fury added: "When this little middleweight batters the bodybuilder again, he’s gonna lose again, then they’re gonna call for Achilles to come out.

“They will call and groan for Achilles to come back.

“And I’m gonna say, ‘Get f***ed, I’m retired, I don’t wanna fight.’

“And then, when they’re begging me to come out of retirement, I will return, but it’s gonna be very costly, like I said.
