‘I think even less of the big dosser’ – Luis Ortiz hits out at Tyson Fury for choosing Derek Chisora as his next opponent

Luis Ortiz is extremely unhappy that he was overlooked by Tyson Fury when choosing his next opponent for his December fight.

After coming out of retirement, Fury looked into defending his WBC world title against a number of opponents, from Oleksandr Usyk to Anthony Joshua, but he eventually landed on Derek Chisora.

The pair will meet for a third time, with Fury having won the first two fights, on December 3 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - live on talkSPORT.

This is reportedly just a warm up for an undisputed clash with Oleksandr Usyk in March of next year in Saudi Arabia.

Even so, there are a number of boxing fans who are disappointed with Fury fighting Chisora once again, none more than Ortiz who believes he should have been considered as 'The Gypsy King's' next opponent.

The argument from Team Fury is that Ortiz is coming off a loss, having been beaten by Andy Ruiz Jr over twelve rounds in September earlier this year, but the Cuban thinks he is still more of a worthy opponent than Chisora.

"He claims to want to fight the best. He says Joshua didn’t want to fight him and that Usyk didn’t want to fight him.

"He went down the line of the top ten on BoxRec and didn’t pick me because I came off a loss.

"Give me a break. You just passed me over because you saw that I went 12 rounds and was only getting better in the late rounds. I was ready for 15 rounds but it’s ok.

"It just makes you look bad that you pass on me to fight Chisora who has 12 losses. This blows my mind.

"I would think Fury should feel embarrassed to move forward with this fight.

"If you want a real fight, I’m here you big dosser, so stop calling fighters out and then choose the easy pickings.”
