‘I’m looking to land a punch’ – Deji expresses his modest ambitions at the press conference ahead of his clash with Floyd Mayweather Jr
Deji has one very simple goal when he steps in the ring with Floyd Mayweather Jr on November 13 in Dubai.
Mayweather Jr and Deji came face to face at London's most iconic and historic boxing venue, York Hall, ahead of their exhibition bout next weekend.

The social media star turned boxer has been very respectful in the build-up to the fight and this continued at the press conference as he revealed that his only ambition come fight night is to 'land a punch.
"I'm looking to land a punch," Deji said, "that would be amazing of course against the best defensive fighter in the world.
"So, I'm looking to have fun, I'm looking to showcase my skills and show what YouTubers can do.
"Me being in there with Floyd is only going to enhance my skills in boxing and push me further up the ladder.
"Then I'm going to keep dominating the YouTube boxing scene after.
"Me fighting Floyd in itself is a W, I'm not afraid of what's to come. If you're scared of getting knocked out, you shouldn't be fighting."

As for Mayweather Jr, he seemed very relaxed and spent more time talking about when he fought another Brit in Ricky Hatton than actually acknowledging the potential threat that Deji might pose.
With that being said, he did say that he was not overlooking the social media star.
"I'm gonna go out there and just have fun, I've done this so many times, so this is just another day," Mayweather Jr said.
"We never overlook anyone. Have I ever seen him fight? absolutely not, but throughout my career I never watched tapes on my opponents, I just do what I do.
Mayweather Jr then addressed Deji directly, saying, "All the cards are stacked against you anyway, so you deserve credit foe just accepting the fight.
"I'm going to let you be the tough guy and I'll just sit back and take it easy."
