Floyd Mayweather insists he’s serious about fighting in the UK in 2023, but admits he no longer loves boxing

Floyd Mayweather could fight in the UK for the first time in his career in 2023.
The retired American boxing legend had all 50 of his professional fights at home in the USA, but is now touring the world with exhibition bouts.
This year, Mayweather has boxed in Japan and the UAE, and is due to return to the latter nation for an exhibition with Deji on November 13.
After this though, a new target venue has emerged.
At the London press conference for his clash with Deji, Mayweather said: "February, we're looking forward to coming here and putting on an exhibition for the fans in the UK.
"Because I never got to come over here and actually fight here when I was actively fighting.
"Hopefully, in February we can come over here and do an exhibition if it's possible."
Quizzed on whether he was serious about this possibility after the presser ended, Mayweather told talkSPORT's Gareth A Davies: "I've been talking, hopefully we're able to come over here and make it happen. In due time, we just don't know."
He continued: "I'm basically the pioneer of exhibitions.
"I started this, this is something I started and I also started [crossovers].
"I was able to mix boxing with an MMA fighter and mix that also.
"Also as far as doing exhibitions, travelling all around the world doing exhibitions.
"So I feel I'm the pioneer of doing it."
Asked if he still loves boxing though, the 45-year-old admitted: "No. It's just a quick pick-up, something to do.
"It keeps me in shape...
"I don't have to fight, I don't have to fight."
