Floyd Mayweather Jr will be going into his exhibition bout on Sunday night against YouTuber Deji considerably undersized.

The pair weighed-in on Saturday and Deji tipped the scales at 175lbs, while Mayweather Jr registered at 154lbs.

Perhaps even more newsworthy than the weight difference is the fact that Mayweather Jr only weighs one weight class up from where he predominantly campaigned as a professional, and he is only three and a half pounds heavier than when he fought Canelo in 2013.

This is incredible given that Mayweather Jr retired from professional boxing back in 2017, and yet he has managed to keep himself in fighting fit shape.

The weight difference between himself and Deji will also not be a concern for Mayweather Jr, given that he has previously taken on much bigger men with little to no trouble.

That was the case of another YouTuber in Logan Paul, who weighed almost 190lbs when they fought.

Deji is not particularly confident of causing a huge upset on fight night, as he outlined his modest ambitions at last week's press conference in London.

“I’m looking to land a punch,” Deji said, “that would be amazing of course against the best defensive fighter in the world.

“So, I’m looking to have fun, I’m looking to showcase my skills and show what YouTubers can do...

“Me fighting Floyd in itself is a W [a win], I’m not afraid of what’s to come. If you’re scared of getting knocked out, you shouldn’t be fighting.”
