‘I know I’m capable of tearing limbs off people like that’ – John Fury reacts to his ringside altercation with Jake Paul at the Floyd Mayweather vs Deji exhibition bout

John Fury had some fighting words for Jake Paul after their verbal sparring on Sunday night.

The pair were both in attendance for the Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Deji exhibition bout, as the self-proclaimed 'TBE' (The Best Ever) stopped his YouTuber opponent in the sixth round.

Tommy Fury had his own exhibition fight on the undercard against Rolly Lambert and Paul took full advantage of being on commentary by hurling insults at the younger brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson.

It was a lacklustre clash and Paul made his thoughts known, as he stood up midway through the fight and shouted, "you f***ing suck" and "you have no d***".

After the fight Tommy took exception to Paul's comments and attempted to lure him into the ring before trying to get out the ring and fight him.

This launched John into action as well, as he ripped his shirt off and began shouting at Paul from inside the ring, held back by the ropes and security.

In the post-fight press conference, John was asked about the incident. "I'm bred to fight. I'm an old-age pensioner, I get my pension on Monday, but I'll still throw down with anybody in the world, bare knuckle or with gloves or whatever.

"I'm not the best in the world, but I'll tell you what I have got, a world class heart and I've passed it on to these boys.

"[Jake Paul's] had a lot to say, hasn't he? And I always say, 'men meet before mountains' and I ain't bothered.

"I've had hundreds and hundreds of fights outside of public houses, car parks, in the ring, whatever.

"I had a few brief professional jobs, I've never trained a day in my life, but what I can do, I'll throw down and I've got guts and I've got heart and I will give anybody a problem.

"Outside, I'm probably as strong as three men. I train everyday, I don't look like I do because I'm a fat man genetically, but I run everyday, we do weights, we spar all the time.

"So, I know I'm capable of tearing the limbs off people like that."
