‘The s***head family’ – Nate Diaz trolls Jake Paul’s dad on Twitter after they met in person

Jake Paul's dad, Greg, held very different views when talking about Nate Diaz on a podcast than when he met him in person.

Having recently signed a deal with the Professional Fighters League (PFL), a rival MMA organisation to the UFC, Jake Paul has proposed an offer to fight former UFC star, Nate Diaz, which would include the pair clashing once in a boxing ring and then once in the Octagon.

Both men have history of beef, with Paul claiming, “I would beat Nate Diaz up in a MMA fight.

“There’s nothing he could do. The biggest thing for me would be getting the kicks down. But I’m going to start now, moving forward with some extra time I have within this camp."

As such, it could have been very awkward when Diaz bumped into Paul's dad recently, but Greg had nothing but respect for the UFC legend, as he expressed his admiration.

"I'm Jake Paul's dad. Dude, I admire the f*** out of you," Greg could be heard saying in a clip of him meeting Diaz in person.

"I love the way you fight and everything about you.

"Hopefully you're going to be fighting Jake, but dude I just wanted to tell you, I watch you and I love your fight style and dog attitude."

Diaz looked slightly uncomfortable during the encounter, but he replied, "I appreciate that."

With that being said, it seems Greg has not always had such kind words for Diaz, as the Stockton-born fighter posted the footage of the pair meeting alongside another clip of Paul's dad on a podcast calling him a 'punk'.

";Jake will knock the p*** out of Nate Diaz," Greg said.

"He will knock the p*** out of Nate Diaz. Nate Diaz is a punk, he's a punk and his record is mediocre."

Diaz posted this duo of clips with the caption: "Apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The s***head family."
