Floyd Mayweather Jr is living up to his nickname 'money' with the pay-per-view price for his exhibition fight with Aaron Chalmers.

The self proclaimed 'TBE' (The Best Ever) is set to fight at the O2 Arena in London on February 25 against the former Geordie Shore star turned Mixed Martial Arts fighter.

This is the latest in a string of exhibitions that Mayweather Jr has been taking part in since retirement, having fought MMA fighters, former sparring partners and even YouTuber Logan Paul.

As with all these previous exhibitions, undoubtedly the main incentive for Mayweather Jr is money and he will not be letting fans watch his upcoming contest cheaply.

It has been revealed that the pay-per-view price in the UK for Mayweather Jr vs Chalmers will be £32.26 on the Zeus Network.

To put this in context, this will be more expensive for UK customers than buying either of the Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk fights, which were £24.95 and £26.95 respectively.

It is also more expensive than all three fights in the epic trilogy between Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder, which cost £24.95 apiece.

Chalmers has an MMA record of 5-2 and he is clearly very excited about the opportunity to fight Mayweather Jr.

“ITS ON. I’m fighting @floydmayweather at the 02 London on 25th feb!!" Chalmers tweeted.

“It doesn’t get much bigger than this for me!! Someone’s 0 has to go,” he added in reference to their respective unbeaten boxing records, with Mayweather Jr being 50-0, while Chalmers is yet to compete in the ring.

Meanwhile, Mayweather Jr said: “I was originally supposed to face a different opponent, but injuries happen and I’m glad that Aaron Chalmers could step up so that we could give the fans what they want.

“The fans in the UK have always been great to me and supported me throughout my career, so an event like this has been a long time coming.

“I’m excited to add more history to the O2 Arena in London.”
