Floyd Mayweather vs Aaron Chalmers fight rules: Number of rounds, length of time, weight details and if boxing legend or Geordie Shore star can win via knockout

Floyd Mayweather will fight in the UK for the first time tonight as he takes on MMA fighter and Geordie Shore star Aaron Chalmers.
The boxing icon is taking to the ring for another exhibition fight at the O2 Arena in London.
The 50-0 legend was originally meant to be facing English Muay Thai fighter Liam Harrison but he pulled out through injury.
So Chalmers has stepped in and will look to pull off a huge shock result on only his second-ever appearance in the ring.
Mayweather’s previous exhibition fights have varied in rules and length so here’s a run down of what to expect this weekend…
The fight will consist of eight two-minute rounds.
The length of Mayweather’s exhibition fights have varied with his last meeting in the ring against Deji only six two-minute rounds.
His fights in Japan against Tenshin Nasukawa and Mikuru Asakura were only four rounds of three minutes.
While the longest of his exhibition bouts came against Logan Paul as they went all the way to decision after eight three-minute rounds.
There is no specific weight for this fight.
Mayweather failed to show up for Friday’s weigh-in and instead hit the scales privately.
The 46-year-old weighed in at 155lbs.
Chalmers came in slightly heavier at 161lbs.
Knockouts are permitted for this exhibition fight.
All of Mayweather’s exhibitions have allowed knockouts and this one will be no different as he takes on Chalmers.

He also managed to stop Deji but that fiight was stopped with his opponent still concious and on his feet.
