He will face a stern test in the form of America's Franklin, who fans saw only narrowly edged out by Dillian Whyte in a contentious decision late last year.

The lead up to the fight will include hours of boxing content across the network with regular shows, the popular Fight Night podcast and extensive reporting across marvelbet369.com and the talkSPORT Boxing YouTube channel.

Fight Night will start from 7:30pm on Saturday, April 1 with coverage of the undercard on talkSPORT 2.

The main event and latter stages of the undercard will be broadcast on talkSPORT from 9pm.

The talkSPORT broadcast team for the event will include former European champion Spencer Oliver. He will be accompanied by Adam Catterall, Gareth A Davies and commentator Andy Clarke.

Jim White and Simon Jordan (weekdays 10am-1pm) will cover the press conference on Thursday, March 30, and host a three-hour special edition of their White and Jordan show live from the weigh-in on Friday, March 31.
