Jake Paul has made the bold move of calling out both of Muhammad Ali's grandsons to fight in MMA and boxing.

The American social media star has been forging a successful boxing career of late, but he recently signed a deal with the PFL (Professional Fighters League) to compete in MMA.

It just so happens that one of Ali's grandsons, Biaggio Ali Walsh, is a professional MMA fighter with a record of 3-1, while his other grandson, Nico Ali Walsh, is a professional boxer with eight wins in his eight fights so far and five KO's.

During a watch along for PFL 2 on Friday night, Paul was asked whether he would fight the two brothers in their chosen disciplines and he replied: "Just erase them all, I'm down."

Biaggio was competing in the event, where he secured a knockout victory, and he subsequently reacted to Paul's comments, saying: "Nico fights at 162 lbs and I fight at 155 lbs, I have no problem with Jake Paul but he should fight someone his own size.

"I don't know why he is trying to fight people smaller than him. He fought at cruiserweight in boxing so fight at the same weight in MMA.

"He's a lot bigger than me, I don't know why he's trying to fight someone smaller than him. Fight someone your own size, I don't understand it."

Nico was present for his brother's recent win and also addressed Paul's call out, as he said: "I didn't know he said that, that's funny.

"I've been asked that a few times, I would say for me personally right now that's not something I'd be interested in.

"I want to make a career for myself, continue my grandfather's legacy in boxing and carve my own path as well.

"No disrespect to him, but once you fight someone in the category you often get categorised as that type of fighter.

"I have a hard time as it is proving myself as a real boxer and I haven't fought a YouTuber or anything like that.

"I want to stick with fighting boxers and getting to a title one day."

In Paul's last outing he suffered his first ever defeat in the ring against Tommy Fury and before any clashes with Ali's grandsons, he will want to avenge that defeat in a rematch.
