It was a close bout, and Paul knocked the Brit down, but after losing, he has decided to face someone who isn't a traditional boxer.

Diaz never won a UFC world title but is an iconic figure in combat sports.

Paul might have faced former MMA fighters before, but Diaz will represent a whole new challenge and has been training to box for years.

Paul vs Diaz: What has been said?

Tensions boiled over during the weigh-in with Diaz receiving support from those in attendance and Paul being booed.

Diaz responded to the cheers from the crowd, saying: “Shout out to everyone for the love and support.

"No matter how the fight goes, this mother f***er can’t really fight!”

Paul then hit back at those booing and said: “They’ve been saying Nate’s tough… boo yourself, virgins!

“They’ve been saying Nate’s tough, Nate’s a dog and tomorrow I’m dog walking that b****.

"I’m putting him on a leash, walking him back to his cage and I’m f***ing him up.”
