Ex-UFC star Darren Till has received a response to an attempt at baiting several prominent boxers into a fight on social media.

‘The Gorilla’ was once a UFC title contender but his career has fallen apart in recent years and he was released by MMA’s premier promotion after losing three consecutive fights.

Till’s poor form has coincided with a spate of injury issues and he claimed it was his decision to leave the UFC to focus on the healing process.

The 30-year-old wants to have some fun boxing matches before returning to MMA in a couple of years and is targeting a fight with former super-middleweight champion Carl Froch.

Till really wants that fight and claimed in a recent interview that he would punch Froch's head in, and that the Nottingham-born fighter was a 'b******'.

He used Twitter to send a foulmouthed message to Froch and three other British stars in an attempt to secure a high-profile opponent for his boxing debut.

Till wrote: “Carl Froch is a long nosed t***. Rocky Fielding is a big lanky s***house. Tommy Fury is a fat f***ing juice head and Joe Joyce is a fat miserable c***.

"All can get it. Let’s go, trolls. F***ing s***houses.”

However, one of the fighters mentioned was quick to respond to Till and even suggested they fight at Liverpool’s 11,000-seater M&S Bank Arena later this year.

Fielding replied: “Let’s see who is one then. July/August Echo Arena However many rounds and minutes you want - let’s goooooo.”

Despite calling Fielding out, the MMA fighter responded by suggesting he is not worthy of being his opponent and instead proposed they spar.

Till tweeted: “Shut up, ya bum, as it happens am looking for sparring partners. You fit the bill nicely. £20 a round. Text Joe!!!

“Getting sent WhatsApps from all my mates Sunday morning calling this Rocky Fielding a parcel. Keep my name out ya mouth, ya lanky s***house or I’ll roll the gym and do you and your coach.

“However and how many? Hahahaha you don’t even train, ya fat c***. You're out in Marbella doing them s*** Tyson fury circuits, ya little Mongolian."

Fielding retired from fighting earlier this year following an eighth-round stoppage defeat to Dan Azeez in a British light-heavyweight title fight.

At the peak of his powers, the 35-year-old was a super-middleweight world champion who fought top boxers Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez, Callum Smith, and John Ryder.

It’s currently unclear if he’s ready to end his boxing retirement to fight Till professionally or if he wants to face his fellow scouser in a fun, money-spinning exhibition bout.
