‘Power you have to see to believe’ – Showtime Boxing post stunning KO compilation of Gervonta Davis ahead of Ryan Garcia clash

For a man standing at just 5 feet 5 inches tall and fighting in the super lightweight division, Gervonta Davis has incredible power.
On Saturday night, Davis will put this power to the test once again when he fights Ryan Garcia and ahead of the clash, the broadcaster Showtime Boxing posted a compilation of Tank's stunning KO's.
The video shows just a few of Davis's 26 career KO's so far, but it is clear just from these clips that his punches are devastating.
And this is without even including Tank's 2020 knockout of the year against Leo Santa Cruz, when he landed a thunderous uppercut to leave his opponent lying unconscious on the canvas.
One KO that is included in the video is from his last fight against Hector Garcia when Davis hits the fighter from the Dominican Republic so hard that he loses his vision.
Garcia survived until the end of the round, but then he can be heard telling his corner, "I can't see," and the fight was subsequently called to a halt.
In his post-fight interview, Garcia said: “I didn’t know where I was when he hit me with that shot.
“My head still hurts, my vision is back. But, that’s what happened, I didn’t know where I was.”
Even Davis was surprised by his own power, as he tweeted after the fight: “Damn, I hit that hard?”
He later added: “A little surprised, but when I caught him, I knew he was hurt, he was hurt bad.
“He’s a fighter, so he didn’t want to show it. I knew he was hurt, though.”
As for this Saturday night, when Davis's power is pitted against Garcia's lightning-fast hands, we will undoubtedly be in for a terrific contest in Las Vegas.
