Francis Ngannou could work with Floyd Mayweather and may still fight Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder or Anthony Joshua

Francis Ngannou has just signed a big MMA deal, but his next fight will almost certainly be in the boxing ring.
The former UFC heavyweight champion announced on Tuesday that he has linked up with the Professional Fighters League [PFL] and will make his debut for them next year.
Ngannou had hoped to secure a superstar opponent for his squared circle debut but they are currently all tied up with a heavyweight mega-event expected to take place in Saudia Arabia later this year.
“Boxing is still on the table. I always dream to get Tyson Fury, he’s not quite available right now," the 36-year-old told DAZN.
"Even Deontay Wilder, both our teams have been going back and forth, but we didn’t get there because of his potential fight with AJ in December. We are still aligned on a potential fight after that.
"The opponents we have been looking at are Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua, and Deontay Wilder. So far, we have only been able to keep conversations with Deontay Wilder.
“We talked with Eddie [Hearn] once but that was when Joshua was about to fight [Jermaine] Franklin. This is something that is interesting, and I think if we bring it to Africa, it will be massive.
“When we were talking to Deontay Wilder, it was a two-fight deal. One somewhere else and one in Africa. It is the same thing we have for Anthony Joshua, and I think it’s something that will get him excited.
As boxing’s biggest stars are unavailable for the rest of the year, ‘The Predator’ wants to take a ‘tune-up’ fight for his debut and says it could come under Floyd Mayweather’s promotional banner.
“My team engaged in some talks with Floyd's Money Team promotion regarding boxing and we are going to see about that.
“We have a plan and are coming out with something very soon.”
Ngannou walked away from the UFC and decided to explore free agency after lengthy talks about a new contract came to nothing.
During his time with MMA’s most popular league, Ngannou earned a reputation as a ferocious power puncher by knocking out Alistair Overeem, Cain Velasquez, Jairzinho Rozenstruik, and Stipe Miocic.
It seems fans will soon find out if his power translates to boxing.
