Ahead of the fight, Taylor made her ring walk amidst an incredible atmosphere, as was expected for the Irishwoman's first ever professional fight in her homeland.

In round one, Taylor showed off her signature fast hands, but Cameron enjoyed some success of her own, landing the heavier shots.

The pair quickly settled into a rhythm, with Cameron stalking her opponent around the ring, while Taylor landed quick combinations and then quickly got out of danger.

By the end of round four, Cameron had established herself in the fight, as Taylor struggled to gain a foothold.

In round six the fight really lit up, as both women held their ground in the middle of the ring and traded shots.

Cameron quickly re-established her dominance over the next few rounds, but as has become so typical of Taylor's style, she refused to give up and kept throwing even when she was up against it.

By round nine, the atmosphere in the stadium had reached a fever pitch as the pair traded shots in the centre of the ring once again, with both women refusing to take a backwards step.

The two fighters were clearly exhausted in the final round, but the relentless action continued and the pair embraced at the final bell following a thrilling fight.

As the attention turned to the judges scorecards, one judge had it a draw at 95-95, with the other two scoring it in favour of Cameron at 96-94, for the Brit to win by majority decision.

After the fight, promoter Eddie Hearn revealed they will be doing the fight again, as he said: "There is of course a rematch clause and we will be doing this fight again in Dublin, Ireland."
