‘Why did you switch?’ – Errol Spence confronts reporter in tense exchange at Terence Crawford press conference

Errol Spence made his feelings clear to a reporter at Wednesday's New York press conference for his fight with Terence Crawford.
After extensive negotiations the rival American welterweight champions are finally set to meet and will crown an undisputed WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO king on July 29 in Las Vegas.
Spence and Crawford were initially locked in talks last summer and attempted to make the fight for November 2022.
However, despite agreeing financial terms, the deal collapsed.
Crawford - a promotional free agent at this point - instead took an offer from new streaming platform BLK PRIME to fight David Avanesyan in December.
Thankfully, after KOing Avanesyan, Crawford then returned to negotiations with Spence and their teams were able to finalise an agreement to fight on July 29.
All is not forgotten by Spence though.
YouTube reporter Blue Blood Sports TV played a part in setting up the deal for Crawford vs Avanesyan with BLK PRIME.
As a result, when Blue Blood attended the New York press conference for Spence vs Crawford on Wednesday, the WBA, WBC and IBF welterweight world champion did not exactly give him a warm reception.
Blue Blood asked Spence: "One of the biggest things for Crawford is he switches stances, how do you prepare for that?"
Spence replied by expressing that he felt the reporter had changed his own stance on the Crawford fight following the BLK PRIME deal.
"I wanna ask why you switched?" he said.
Blue Blood was surprised: "Switched what?"
Spence hit back: "You know what you switched, and what was that thing Terence Crawford fought on?"
Blue Blood answered: "BLK PRIME?"
To which Spence said: "Yeah, what happened?"
The streaming service has not staged any major events since, prompting Blue Blood to stutter slightly and reply: "It ain't happening right now."
Spence responded: "Oh yeah, okay. You was going for Errol Spence and then once Terence Crawford got with BLK Prime you flipped."
Not long later though, the situation had an amicable resolution.
After answering other reporters' questions Spence refused to move on before returning to Blue Blood and settling things by answering his initial question about Crawford switching stances.
