Nate Diaz footage convinces Eddie Hearn that Jake Paul fight is a mismatch as boxing promoter makes KO prediction

Eddie Hearn is not impressed by new footage of Nate Diaz preparing for his boxing debut.
The fight promoter now believes Jake Paul will have an easy night at the office and bounce back from his loss against Tommy Fury inside four rounds on August 5.
“I watched clips of Nate Diaz hit pads, I think I might’ve even told you, and I was like [staring blankly, open-mouthed],” Hearn host Ariel Helwani.
“You know that it’s going to be a mismatch against Jake Paul, don’t you?”
“I know you love Nate Diaz, and I love him. Listen, I’ve only met him a couple times — what a gent. But for it to be a mismatch against Jake Paul? Yes [he’s getting smoked].”
Hearn is so confident Paul will beat Diaz that he wants to bet on the fight and even offered his interviewer the chance to get 3/1 odds on the boxing newcomer.
“You can see people hit pads and you know whether they can [box],” he added.
“From what I saw, maybe you [Helwani] against Nate is a 50-50. But we can have a friendly bet on that fight, and I’ll give you [good] odds.
"I don’t know what the actual line is, because you guys do things a little bit different over here, but I’ll give you 3/1 on Nate Diaz if you want it.
“Honestly [I’m that confident]. And we’re talking about Jake Paul. We’re not talking about [Tyson] Fury or AJ [Anthony Joshua] fighting an MMA fighter - we’re talking about Jake Paul.”
“It won’t go four [rounds]. I mean, listen, unless it’s all a bit of a bluff by Nate, what I saw. Maybe.”
Diaz is regarded as one of the best boxers in MMA after spending much of his career acting as a training partner for former two-weight world champion Andre Ward.
However, Esquiva Falcao, an Olympic silver medallist, and 30-0 professional boxer, recently made headlines for his criticism of Diaz’s boxing skills following a sparring session between the two in Los Angeles.
Falcao, who will face Vincenzo Gualtieri for the vacant IBF middleweight title on July 1, called Diaz 'bad', 'overweight', and said the MMA icon 'looked like he was dying” during their spar.
