Eddie Hearn ‘very confident’ Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder will get made after Saudi meeting

Eddie Hearn has held further talks with Saudi Arabian representatives over hosting Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder.
Saudi Arabia-based promotional company Skills Challenge Entertainment want to host the heavyweight mega-fight in December this year or January early next year.
As of right now there has been interest from all parties, but no contracts exchanged and so Hearn recently travelled to Saudi Arabia to meet with everyone involved.
“It went great..." Hearn told .
"We spoke through dates, we spoke through numbers and we're moving in the right direction.
"We expect to receive formal paperwork in the next 7-10 days. I'm very confident you're gonna get a fight.”
Chisora followed up by asking: "Was it good numbers?"
To which Hearn replied: "We wouldn't be here if it wasn't."
There is, however, less progress being made in the two fights that both men are trying to make in the interim.
Joshua wants to fight Dillian Whyte on August 12 in a rematch of their 2015 clash, which AJ won by seventh round knockout.
After Hearn's first offer, Whyte was not financially satisfied, but then he did a U-turn and accepted the offer.
There was a further dispute over a rematch clause, which Joshua's team has since removed, although there has been no update since then.
Meanwhile, Wilder has been trading insults with Andy Ruiz Jr who is not happy with the purse split offered and wants their fight to be 50/50, but as has become so common in the heavyweight division, negotiations for this fight are currently at an impasse.
