‘I’ve never even met him’ – Chris Tarrant left baffled by Tyson Fury claiming they had a heated argument in Netflix series At Home With The Furys

Chris Tarrant has hit back at Tyson Fury's bizarre claim that they once had a 'big row' at Gleneagles in Scotland.
The UK TV personality, best known for presenting 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?' for 16 years, was surprised to be name-checked by the WBC heavyweight world champion in his new Netflix series.
On the third episode of 'At Home With The Furys', Tyson was planning a holiday with his wife Paris.
During their conversation, he said: "What's the f***ing big hotel called in Scotland? Gleneagles.
"I had a big row with Chris Tarrant the last time I was there."
No doubt the 76-year-old was baffled to wake up one morning and see his name in the headlines for a supposed argument with boxing's heavyweight world champion.
Tarrant has now told the in response: "It is complete nonsense! I’ve never even met him.
"My wife and I got into a crowded lift with Tyson in it. We didn’t even speak and I got out at the next floor.
"There was no row, not a word was exchanged and we never saw him again. So I’ve still never met him.
"He is one of the greatest boxers I’ve ever seen, why on earth would I have a row with him? This is rubbish."
Fury is yet to offer an explanation.
