Francis Ngannou denied place in Ring Magazine top 10 heavyweight rankings after Tyson Fury fight, and Anthony Joshua retains position

Francis Ngannou has not been included in the updated Ring Magazine heavyweight top 10 rankings.
The former UFC champion shocked the boxing world by flooring Tyson Fury and going toe-to-toe with him in a competitive fight on Saturday night, although he ultimately lost a controversial split decision.
Following this fight, many fans have gained a tremendous amount of respect for Ngannou's boxing ability.
Some are calling for him to rematch Fury.
Others want to see him take on top heavyweights such as Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder.
Time will tell what Ngannou's next move turns out to be, but for the moment the boxing world is still reacting to Saturday night.

WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman has said he will be recommending that Ngannou joins the top ten of their sanctioning body's heavyweight rankings.
However, the Ring Magazine panel does not agree with this assessment.
Their independent group of writers have decided that Ngannou does not warrant a top ten position yet.
In fact, in their latest update, just one writer suggested installing him in the number ten position, but it was not a big point of discussion.
