David Adeleye tells story of meeting Eminem and R9 before his fight with Fabio Wardley

David Adeleye's fight against Fabio Wardley may have not gone his way, but the trip to Saudi Arabia was not all bad.
On the undercard of the Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou fight late last month, Adeleye was knocked out in the seventh round of his grudge match with Wardley.
And while that will have been a bitter pill to swallow, as Adeleye suffered the first defeat of his professional boxing career, he did get to rub shoulders with some of his idols while out in Saudi Arabia for the star studded event.
"On my table, I was sitting alongside my commercial agent, I had Amir Khan on my left and I had Eminem sitting across from me," Adeleye told talkSPORT.
"They told me Eminem was on my table and they'd done the seating arrangements so we would be across from each other and I was like 'What?!'
"There's a boxing game that's coming out on PSP and I was playing it with him, it was humbling.

"He was giving me words of encouragement the day before the fight and can you imagine what is was like? There were big musicians there who I like listening to giving me words of encouragement.
"I spoke to Ronaldo, R9, and after the photo he was like 'good luck tomorrow' I and I was like 'He knows I'm fighting tomorrow, there's no way', it was humbling and an experience I took in."
These were not the only celebrities in attendance, as Cristiano Ronaldo was also there, as well as Conor McGregor and a whole host of other combat sports legends.
And they almost witnessed one of the biggest upsets in boxing history, as former UFC heavyweight champion knocked 'The Gypsy King' down in the third round of their fight and looked to be on his way to victory.
