Jake Paul has said he will be putting Andre August to sleep when they meet in the ring on Friday night.

This will be Paul's ninth professional fight, but only his second against a pro boxer, having lost against Tommy Fury earlier this year.

But, this time around, Paul has weighed-in over 16lbs heavier than he did against Fury, registering a career heaviest weight of 199.4lbs, as he looked ripped on the scales.

With that being said, his opponent, 10-1 pro boxer August, looked in terrific shape too, as he tipped the scales at 198.6lbs ahead of Friday night's clash.

Paul looks fired up for this fight and he was greeted by cheers from the crowd, as he emerged onto the stage alongside his brother, WWE star Logan Paul.

And when it came time for the face-off, Paul crawled over to August like a possessed animal, before getting right in his face and the two men could be seen exchanging words.

Afterwards, August was asked what was said between the two men and he replied: "Man I'm ready, it is what it is, I'm ready.

"I'm gonna shock the world, I'm gonna put him down, I'm tired of all that talking, all that talking is over with, tomorrow it's going down."

As for Paul, he had this to say after the weigh-in: "Man, I just love this s***.

"It's gonna be an absolute movie, I'm gonna out-box the boxer and he's going to sleep."

This is the lowest profile opponent Paul has taken on in the ring, but he has insisted that this fight is not about money.

Instead it is all about gaining experience, as he continues on his ambitious journey towards becoming a world champion.

And Paul has even expressed aspirations to take on current undisputed super middleweight world champion Canelo one day.

Although, the Mexican is not interested for the time being at least, as he previously told : “My level is another level. I think he needs to enjoy what he’s doing and that’s it.

“He needs to calm down and stop calling out people with other levels.

“I think he needs to focus on what he’s doing, he’s doing good things.”
