‘Total crazy s***’ – UFC president Dana White responds to rumour he is finally entering boxing after major deal

It seems UFC president Dana White will not be furthering his venture into boxing for the time being.
Rumours had been circulating that Endeavor, who already own the UFC and the WWE, would be acquiring Top Rank.
This has been categorically denied, however, by White and Top Rank founder Bob Arum.
White responded on his Instagram, saying: "Absolutely positively not true. We are not buying Top Rank."
Meanwhile, Arum was contacted by boxing journalist Dan Rafael, who reported on X: "Responding to rumour circulating that is selling to Endeavor.
"Here’s what he texted me from Tokyo, where he’s at : 'Total crazy shit.
"I have not talked about this with anyone. We are not for sale. I have no intention to retire. Having too much fun'."
White already has some involvement in boxing having previously promoted the 2017 lucrative clash between Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Conor McGregor.
The UFC president also uses UFC Fight Pass as a network for Tom Loeffler from 360 Promotions' events.
One of the latest contests shown on UFC Fight Pass featured up and coming undefeated Irish boxer Callum Walsh, as he beat Ismael Villarreal by unanimous decision to move his record on to 9-0.
As for Top Rank, it's still going strong, as on Tuesday they promote an undisputed super bantamweight contest between 'The Monster' Naoya Inoue and Marlon Tapales in Tokyo, Japan.
This gives Inoue the opportunity to become undisputed champion in two weight classes, having won the undisputed bantamweight world titles in December last year.
