Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia target date and location revealed by Oscar De La Hoya

Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia have been on a collision course ever since turning pro and the fight could happen this year.
The pair fought six times as amateurs, with Haney winning three times and Garcia also claiming victory on three occasions.
Since then, Haney has maintained his unbeaten record and he has gone on to become an undisputed world champion at lightweight and he is currently the WBC super lightweight title holder.
Meanwhile, Garcia is yet to fight for a world title and he has suffered one loss, getting knocked out by Gervonta 'Tank' Davis, but he bounced back last time out against Oscar Duarte and he has put together a record of 24-1, with 20 KO's.
Garcia has since told his promoter, Oscar De La Hoya, that he wants to take on Haney next.
Speaking to, De La Hoya said: "Yes, that's the next fight that we want to make.
"Ryan Garcia gave me specific instructions to make that fight and we're gonna make it.
"Haney being the top dog there at 140lbs, obviously alongside no disrespect to Teofimo [Lopez], because he's also a tremendous talent, amazing.
"But, there's many fights to be made at 140lbs and first thing's first, we're gonna start the official negotiations after this fight on Saturday and talk to whoever is in charge of Haney and get this fight happening."
De La Hoya went on to say that he thinks the fight will be easy to make and he revealed a potential date, saying: "I'm hoping a March date would be ideal."
As for a location, De La Hoya seemed assured that the fight, if it happens, would take place in Las Vegas.
