Paris Fury left ‘shaking’ after seeing cut suffered by Tyson Fury leading to Oleksandr Usyk postponement

Paris Fury says her 'full body was left shaking' after seeing the cut suffered by her husband, Tyson Fury, for the first time.
The Gypsy King was struck by the elbow of his sparring partner on Friday morning, resulting in him receiving 15 stitches and seeing his hotly-anticipated fight with Oleksandr Usyk postponed.
Fury admitted that he was 'absolutely devastated' about the postponement and shared a snap on social media that proved that he was looked in incredibly good shape for the contest.
But after suffering the injury, Fury's wife admitted the reality of what it's like being married to one of boxing's biggest heavyweight stars.
Posting on her Instagram story, Paris said: “My full body was shaking with nerves when he showed me this cut because I wasn’t there with him.
“He sounded so p***ed off and disappointed, but this is boxing (a dangerous sport) and these things can happen.”
Frank Warren has exclusively confirmed to talkSPORT that he fully expects the undisputed heavyweight title fight - that was originally scheduled for February 17 - to go ahead at a later date, but wouldn't be drawn on when it could take place.
Asked if he believes the fight will still happen, Warren said: “Of course I do. It’s what everybody signed up for.
“It’s a huge fight – the biggest fight this century, there’s no doubt about that. It’s the fight that everybody wanted and because of the Riyadh Season, His Excellency and all his team, that’s why the fight is happening and nothing is going to impair it or stop it going on.
“It’s unfortunate where we are but we will make sure that it will occur because it’s the fight that everybody wants to see.”
For now, the focus for Fury will be on fully recovering and ensuring that he's in the best shape possible for a potential rearranged fight in the months ahead.
