Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul as it happened – YouTuber BEATS boxing legend in controversial Netflix fight as fans dub bout ‘a sad watch’

Recap all of the action after Jake Paul beat boxing icon Mike Tyson via unanimous decision in a huge record-breaking crossover fight.
Neither man really let their hand go in a very low-output fight that saw Paul outpoint Tyson on the outside.
In the end, all three judges' scorecards read 80-72, 79-73,79-73 in Paul's favour.
The co-main event between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano undoubtedly stole the show, with both women setting a furious pace throughout.
Taylor got her hand raised under controversial circumstances.
Most felt Serrano had done enough to win and the CompuBox punch stats suggested the same but the judges saw it differently.
All three scored it 95-94 to Taylor as she retained her undisputed super-lightweight titles on the biggest stage of all.

That's all!
Well, that's it for marvelbet369.com's live coverage of Jake Paul's unanimous decision win over boxing icon Mike Tyson.
YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul beat 'Iron Mike' who at 58 years old looked a shadow of his former self in the ring.
Many fans described the occasions as 'sad' with some going as far to call the less than entertaining bout a 'disgrace'.
But Paul has now become part of an exclusive group by coming out on top against Tyson who now has a seventh loss to his name.
And the event was record-breaking as its commercial sales in the USA were higher than when Conor McGregor faced Floyd Mayweather.
You can recap all of the night's action in our live blog below.
Make sure to stick around on talkSPORT and marvelbet369.com for all the reaction from the fight too.
'Horrible to see'
talkSPORT boxing commentator John Rawling was left in disbelief at fans thinking Mike Tyson could beat Jake Paul.
Tyson looked a shadow of his former self in the ring last night and Paul beat the legend with ease in the end.
Rawling expected that result and slammed 'gullible' supporters into thinking at nearly 60, 'Iron Mike' could perform at his best.
He said on the Weekend Sports Breakfast: "The thing I find astonishing is that so many people bought into the fact that Tyson had a genuine chance.
"The prospect of a 58-year-old man doing anything to the level he used to...
"You might get away with it if you're on a golf course, but in a boxing ring it's such a different set of circumstances.
"In a hurt environment, I think it was pretty horrible to see.
"It was fairly naked exploitation of a gullible public."

Four-division world boxing champion Terence Crawford has weighed in on last night's big fight.
And he didn't hold back on his assessment of Mike Tyson.
'Iron Mike' threw less than 100 punches as Jake Paul beat the boxing icon by unanimous decision.
Crawford posted on X after the bout: "I love Mike Tyson, but they giving him too much credit.
"He looked like trash, to train that long and only throw 97 punches the whole fight is crazy.
"I’m just glad he didn’t get hurt out there."
Time up for Tyson
talkSPORT's Spencer Oliver believes Mike Tyson won't ever step into a boxing ring again after losing to Jake Paul.
But he also refused to give credit to Paul for beating the legend due to the massive age gap between the pair.
"We can safely say that's the last time we'll see Mike Tyson in a boxing ring," Oliver told talkSPORT.
"You know what, you knew it was always going to be one of those things. Realistically, would Mike Tyson do anything like he did before?
"What we wanted was Mike Tyson to knock Jake Paul out, unfortunately, that never happened.
"Jake Paul never really engaged in it and it became a bit of a snore fest, a bore fest if you like.
"We won't see Tyson in a ring again, but he's got another £20million in the bank so happy days.
"Jake will be challenging other people and speaking about beating the Baddest Man on the Planet and all that rubbish, but the reality is that he beat a 58-year-old guy whose best days have left him."
Calling out Canelo
Jake Paul wants to fight Canelo Alvarez next.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer is not afraid to take on one of the sports pound-for-pound superstars after beating Mike Tyson.
He has consistently called out Canelo in the lead-up to his bout with Tyson and that continued post-fight.
He told talkSPORT following his victory: "Yeah [I can fight Canelo], that's what everyone wants to see.
"I want a bigger challenge so come on."
That came after Paul also commented on the Mexican while still in the ring at the AT&T Stadium.
"[I can fight] anyone I want," he said. "This is the biggest event, 120 million people, we crashed the Netflix site.
"Everyone is on the list, I'm not going to call out names."
But of course, Paul did, adding: "Canelo needs me.
"He knows he wants a payday so he knows where the money man's at."

Jake Paul's brother Logan believes that he should have knocked Mike Tyson out during their fight.
Paul has admitted that he prevented himself from KOing the boxing icon as he 'didn’t want to hurt someone that didn’t need to be hurt'.
But Logan thought differently...
He said after the bout: "I wish he would have knocked him out for slapping him. But the event is historical, I'm happy Jake won.
"I do think that by not absolutely obliterating Mike, we got to see the nobility of him still stepping into the ring.
"And Jake got to fight a legend and check that off his resume.
"I was personally offended that he hit Jake so I thought Jake was going to give him a little more than he did.
"But maybe Jake was trying to spare him and that's very nice of my brother."
New record set
Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson broke new boundaries in the USA.
The controversial crossover bout has set a record for commercial distribution location sales in America.
It was previously held by the fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather, but they have now lost their title.
Commercial distribution locations include venues like bars and restaurants, with them paying for the right to broadcast to their customers etc.
McGregor vs Mayweather was reported to have brought in $4.3million domestic PPV sales and more than $600m in overall revenue.
So, the total money made by Paul vs Tyson is expected to be astronomical...
Paul's management confirmed post-fight: "Paul Tyson / Taylor Serrano breaks US record for commercial distribution location sales, breaking the previous record held by Mayweather McGregor."
And his manager Nakisa Bidarian was delighted with the achievement, as shown in the video below...
Why Paul didn't KO Tyson
Jake Paul has explained that he held himself back from trying to KO Mike Tyson during their fight.
The Problem Child dominated the bout and was declared the winner on all three of the judges' scorecards in Texas.
The age difference between him and Tyson was clear to see and fans didn't enjoy watching the legend fight in his current state.
Paul noticed that his opponent was struggling too, and the media then asked him if he had stopped himself from going for a knockout.
"Yeah, definitely [took my foot off the gas]," he admitted post-fight.
"I wanted to give the fans a show. But I didn't wanna hurt someone that didn't need to be hurt."
'A sad, sad watch'
Over 70,000 fans were watching in Texas as Jake Paul beat boxing icon Mike Tyson a few hours ago.
And they were joined by millions on Netflix.
But the reaction to the bout has all been about 'The Baddest Man on the Planet' being a shadow of his former self.
There is a 30-year age gap between Tyson and Paul, with that being the reason this fight was viewed as so controversial.
Fans expressed their concern before the bout and it's been the main talking point after it too.
One fan wrote on social media after Tyson lost: "This is a sad, sad watch. A travesty for the sport of boxing."
Others blamed the Texas Athletic Commission for sanctioning the fight as a professional bout.
One said: "This is why boxing is a dead sport to me.
"60 year old Mike Tyson shouldn't be fighting how did boxing commission allow this to happen shameful."
Another added: "How the f**k did any commission pass Mike Tyson via medical for a sanctioned boxing match, this is sad.
"Jake Paul gets no glory in this. It’s a disgrace."
Paul shows respect to Tyson
Speaking post-fight, Paul said: "Mike Tyson, he's a legend. He's the greatest to ever do it. I look up to him and we wouldn't be here today without him.
"This man is an icon and it's an honour to fight him. It was tough like I expected it to be...
He's exactly what I thought, one of the greatest to ever do it. This night is not about me.
"I want to thank the real heroes, the US military, the doctors, the nurses, the nurses in the ER, the cops, the farmers... all the people that make this world go around...
I was trying to hurt him a little bit. I was scared he was going to hurt me. I'm trying to hurt him. I did my best."
Tyson calls out Logan
Mike Tyson has hinted that he may not be done.
Asked if he would fight again, Tyson replied: "I don't know [if I will fight again]. Maybe his brother.
Logan responds: "Motherf***** I'll kill you, Mike."
Let's hope that fight never happens.
Paul vs Tyson - Round 8
Tyson is in survival mode. The boxing legend has barely let his hands go since the first round but he has made it to the final bell.
It's not a good look for Paul. If he can't knockout a 58-year-old man, how is he expected to hang with any top boxer?
Paul bows to Tyson at the end in a touching show of respect but his stock lowers from this. We go to the scorecards.
Paul vs Tyson - Round 7
