He has faced concern from the boxing world, given there will be a 31-year age gap between the pair when they lace up their gloves this summer.

Despite the claim, it will likely be a lucrative event for Paul with the fight set to be broadcast around the globe on streaming service Netflix.

Paul's brother Logan has fought in the boxing ring himself including an original exhibition with legend Floyd Mayweather.

And he yesterday claimed that he decided not to pursue the fight with Tyson himself due to health concerns for 'Iron'.

"I said no to fighting Mike Tyson," he said on his Impaulsive podcast. "I was offered it, but not on Netflix and not for a big a** bag.

"I've been asked, 'Do you think you could beat Mike Tyson?' My answer is yes. I just think he's too old, it's crazy. He's senile."

His high-profile sibling has since issued a response on a Kick stream, dismissing the claim.

He replied: "It is not true. We are the ones that brought the deal to Mike Tyson. My team struck a deal with Netflix, and then went to other fighters to get them involved.

Paul and his brother have fallen out and argued in public on multiple occasions during their YouTube careers, which they have blamed on their competitive nature.

His sibling Logan has befriended KSI, who is a long-term rival of the 'Problem Child' which has raised tensions further.

Fans have expressed similar concerns to 'The Maverick' about his brother's fight, with Tyson having been pictured using a walking stick.

Recent training footage has also prompted a concerned response from fans, who believe he could be knocked out by Paul.

Irrespective of the influencer brothers' dispute, they are both continuing to attract some huge names to combat sports events.
