Canelo Alvarez and Ryan Garcia publicly end feud with wholesome social media message exchange

Canelo Alvarez and Ryan Garcia have officially ended their beef.
The boxing superstars previously shared a friendship when they trained together under Eddy Reynoso, but their relationship turned sour after the young prospect left the team in 2021.
Alvarez was highly critical of Garcia's decision to leave his long-time trainer and lambasted him for lacking the work ethic to reach the top of the sport.
‘King Ry’ took exception to his former teammate's comments and fired back with several verbal jabs that seemingly brought their relationship to a bitter end.
Canelo recently extended an olive branch by branding Garica ‘a good person’ amid widespread concerns about his mental health heading into a clash with Devin Haney on April 20.
On Saturday, the 25-year-old responded by aiming a social media post at Canelo, in which he expressed appreciation for the kind words from his compatriot.
"No amount of hate can separate our Mexican Bond,” Garcia wrote on alongside a picture of him and the undisputed super middleweight champion.
“Thank you Canelo for all the lessons and teachings you gave me. Also thank you to Eddy Reynoso for all the training you helped me with forever grateful and I’m thankful! From the bottom of my soul.
“Peso What’s up bro!!!! Thanks for showing me love bro appreciate you. You supported me thru Twitter checking in on me and I’m grateful for that. God bless you.
“I’m going to bring the WBC title back home VIVA MEXICO. In the end I do all things for God and that will always remain number one first priority.”
Canelo took to the comment section to continue supporting Garcia.
“Just focus and get that win, you know we love to kid,” he wrote.
Garcia replied: “My big brother! No matter what I'm with you. You taught me a lot. No one can tell me otherwise. I will always respect you.”
Canelo added: “Always with the intention to help you from the heart, we are with you anyway.”
Garcia’s relationship with Alvarez may be on the mend, but he’s got some work to do if he hopes to save his fight against Haney.
Mauricio Sulaiman told marvelbet369.com last week that the WBC, whose super-lightweight world title is on the line in the main event, are in direct talks with the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) regarding Garcia.
The NYSAC has since requested for Garcia to undergo a mental health evaluation before fight night.
