Ryan Garcia is open to travelling to the UK for his next fight.

The former training partner of Canelo Alvarez put on a career-best performance to beat WBC super lightweight champion Devin Haney by majority decision on Saturday night.

Garcia dropped Haney in the seventh, tenth and eleventh rounds, with the champion forced to climb from the canvas for the first time in his professional career.

Despite becoming the first man to beat Haney, Garcia walked away from their fight empty-handed after missing weight by 3.2llbs and forfeiting his chance to become a world champion.

In the immediate aftermath of his upset win, Garcia received a congratulatory message from Conor Benn, who expressed a willingness to face ‘Flash’ or Haney next.

He tweeted: “Great performance from Garcia I called it.

“I will fight any of these guys.”

On Sunday afternoon, Garcia responded by suggesting he and Benn box at the O2 Arena before aiming a very specific threat at his potential opponent.

He replied: “Let’s run it in London at the 02. I will fracture your SPLEEN and then eat it. Shoutout London.”

Benn fired back: "Don’t be another loud mouth like [Gervonta Davis] if you are really about it let’s do it next and I will smash your teeth down your neck you w***er."

Haney is hoping to get an immediate rematch against the man he went 3-3 with during their epic six-fight series as amateurs.

Simon Jordan reveals he's had a long conversation with Conor Benn recently about his return to British boxing following his 'failed drug tests'

However, Garcia insisted there would be ‘’ straight after beating Haney and edging ahead 4-3 after their first fight as professionals.

The 25-year-old suggested that he will move up to the 147lb division, which is dominated by former undisputed champion Terence Crawford.

Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis is the only other titleholder at welterweight after being promoted from IBF interim champion when Crawford was stripped by the organisation.

If he’s unable to secure a scrap with a titleholder, a big fight with Benn in London would certainly be a lucrative alternative option that would please fans.
