Devin Haney has insisted that he does not want to fight Ryan Garcia again.

On April 20, Garcia shocked the boxing world by flooring Haney three times in their super-lightweight fight in New York and beating him by unanimous decision.

However, that victory is now under major question as he tested positive for ostarine in two VADA drugs tests taken on the day before and on the day of the fight.

Garcia also screened positive for a metabolite of nandrolone (19-norandrosterone) in one of his tests, but this result is not yet confirmed and requires further lab analysis.

Ostarine is a selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) used to assist athletic performance by helping build muscle mass, burn fat and increase stamina. Nadrolone is a synthetic (lab-made) version of testosterone.

Both are well known to be banned substances, with Amir Khan having been banned over a positive test for ostarine in 2022 and Tyson Fury having accepted a backdated ban over a positive test for nandrolone in 2015.

Garcia had insisted he is innocent of knowingly cheating, but Haney does not believe him and does not want to fight him again as a result.

"Honestly I'm not too interested in it," Haney told when asked about a rematch.

"During the build-up we've seen a lot of interesting things from him.

"We've seen his character, we've seen the guy cheat, we've seen the person that he is.

"I don't see myself ever getting back in the ring [with him], but I'm a fighter speaking right now about how I feel, we never know what the future holds…

"As of right now, it wouldn't be a fight I would entertain.

"As I said, this guy showed his character, he showed that he would do anything to win, including cheat, that's just reality.

"Boxing is just a sport at the end of the day.

"He put my life in jeopardy. So now it's deeper than boxing with me.

"I wanna take this thing somewhere else now.

"He could've done some real dangerous things to me that night."
