‘I would be s******* my pants’ – Joe Rogan fears for Jake Paul after watching Mike Tyson training footage on podcast

Joe Rogan had admitted he wouldn't like to be Jake Paul after watching Mike Tyson train.
Paul is set to do battle with Tyson on July 20, in a fight which will see the pair meet in a sanctioned professional bout despite their significant age and experience gap.
Heavyweight legend Tyson has been posting footage of his trademark power despite approaching aged 58, which has seen concerned fans urge Paul to cancel the fight.
And popular podcaster Rogan has suggested Tyson has clearly reignited his 'darker' side which will allow him to inflict a KO on his rival.
He said on his podcast when discussing the footage: “Bro, he’s in savage mode right now. He’s in savage mode.
"If I was Jake Paul right now, I would be sh***ing my pants, it’s all the experiences that he has had as a conqueror. You have to take those into consideration.
"When a man has smashed men before, just smashed men, like, when no one can stand in front of him, that is in his mind still.
"That’s in there. There’s a dark chamber in his mind that he can open up and I think he’s got it open. The question is: can his body move along with it?
"But that part of his mind, like, you’re clearly seeing. He’s terrifying when he’s in the zone.”
Tyson clearly has the natural dynamite in his hands, despite having not fought as a professional since 2005.
But the real concerns come for his health and his punch resistance, given the fact he lost three of his last four professional fights including against Kevin McBride that year.
The boxing veteran did compete in an exhibition against Roy Jones Jr in 2020, but he has been warned that he could sustain serious damage and to remain out of the ring.
Some fans also believe that his footage is being used to cover up his reduction in speed and timing, but he is looking to prove doubters wrong.
Paul was equally concerned after watching the footage, and even admitted he is nervous to step in the ring with Tyson.
But he insists that Tyson elected to take the sanctioned bout, and plans to unleash his own power on the night.
"I just want to make it clear that Mike Tyson is the one who wanted it to be a professional fight," he said .
"I said to Nakisa [Bidarian - MVP co-founder], if that is what Mike wants that is fine, but make sure you tell Mike there is no holding back.
"Whatever happens now happens and this is war now.
"If he puts me down I can deal with that, but if I put him down, he needs to be the one making the decision on whether or not he can deal with it.
"I'm going in there now its a pro fight and its on my professional record and I'm going to f***ing put him down.
"If people are p***ed about it, then go and watch soccer."
